Da Vinci invented a huge range of machines and drew models that proved workable 3-500 years later. These included prototype parachutes, tanks, flying machines and single-span bridges.<br />
More practical inventions included an optical lens grinder and various hydraulic machines.</p>

You&#8217;ll develop your idea on paper, make sketches, create a prototype (not an expensive one at this stage). You can use CAD drawings and 3D design to showcase the functionality of the idea.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m preparing to apply for a patent here in the US and I was wondering how much I should expect to be waiting until everything is done. So how long does it usually take to have the application approved and reviewed? I&#8217;m aware it probably depends on a number of factors but maybe someone can give me a rough idea on what to expect.</p>
