If you are located in Houston and want help for invention, Houston Inventors Association is there for you. Since their beginning in 1983, HIA has become one of the strongest voices in America for the independent inventor, but they also include academic and corporate innovators. Their motto, “Inventors Helping Inventors”, expresses their purpose, which they accomplish by sharing their experience in technical areas and their first-hand knowledge of the difficulties in getting from raw idea to marketable product.HIA holds a special small group “Confidential Meeting” the 3rd Wednesday each month for members only where everyone signs a non-disclosure agreement and members can discuss their product/concept openly and receive help and advice on the next steps of pursuing their idea, concept or design. You can access their website through this URL
