Maia replied to the topic license or sell my innovation without patent or provincial patent application in the forum Marketing your invention 6 years, 1 month ago
According to my experience, most of the companies would license the innovation that has patent or PPA. As you want to save your invention, they too want to save it from competitors’ infringement. And the best way is to get PPA for your invention and then license it.

Her name is Margaret Eloise Knight; (Born February 14, 1838 – died on October 12, 1914) was an American inventor. There are numerous other stories of inventors who had their inventions stolen by opportunistic abusers of the patent system, but Margaret Knight (…[Read more]

Maia replied to the topic the right way to avoid scam to market your invention in the forum Invention scams 6 years, 1 month ago
Hi, Veronica. I am going to right the precise way to market your invention.
-1) First, you need to contact a registered patent lawyer and pay for a thorough (not preliminary) patent search ($750 – $1500 for most inventions).-2) If your idea is patentable – hire the patent attorney to file a utility patent
If your Idea is not patentable – and i…[Read more] -

This question has already been answered into another thread. Irrespective of that if I add something that the Danny said, you can also license your idea of innovation.

Maia replied to the topic Curious question!!! in the forum Developing Ideas 6 years, 2 months ago
Yes, I totally agree with your stance on this. I have heard from my friend that 40-90% of patent innovations would not make it to the market, keeping it to them, not benefiting the society from their novel ideas. Only if they have shared the ideas publicly, someone might have adopted the innovation and made it public. Most of the innovation comes…[Read more]

Maia replied to the topic I need help with my invention? in the forum Developing Ideas 6 years, 2 months ago
Hi, Lucy. It is a really crucial thing and steps must be taken cautiously. First I need to know what kind of invention you want to produce. If it is something physical you may contact industrial engineers for this purpose. Or if it is related to computer software (which I am guessing it is from how to design and create), you can use freelancer…[Read more]

First, you can contact the company or invention promoter to get the money back. Second, you can register the complaint against this invention promoter according to the American Inventors Protection Act of 1999 to USTPO. For complain you must have to give address and name of you as well as invention promoter. USPTO doesn’t take any legal action a…[Read more]

Margaret Eloise Knight (1838-1914) was the most famous woman inventor of the 19th century. She’s build many inventions during her lifetime, but what she is most well-known for is a machine she built when she was 30, which folded and glued paper to create a flat-bottomed paper bag. The product was popular — so popular, in fact, that a man stole t…[Read more]

Since you mentioned sketching, I think another way you could do it is to make a nice sketch on a sheet of paper and scan it. Then, you can use Photoshop or Paint or any software to manipulate it, add or change colors, text, images.
