Find a company that may have similar products or can use your invention and contact their marketing department.
The marketing department is the one that has the most knowledge of the market and if they see a benefit using your invention they will push it thru. -

This is the hard part of the inventing process when you have an invention for sale and can’t find a company to buy it or license it.
Finding a partner with money or experience will help you with selling your invention. -

Many inventors fall in love with their creation and lose sight of the fact that some times you need to abandon a failed project and move on. -

I like this simple non-disclosure agreement it covers only the bare essential information and not much of the legalese annoying lawyer language that we don’t understand and is hard to follow.

It depends on what your invention is and how much research you did on your own to make sure you will sell the invention in the end. The help of a patent agent or patent attorney is almost always required at some point.
